It seems like everywhere you turn these days, people are telling you to build a list. There is a good reason for this however. Having a list gives you the opportunity to make large amounts of money at any given time by simply sending an email…
Here are some other good reasons to build a list:
1. You can sell to the same people over and over again
The single biggest expense in your online business will be acquiring a new customer. Build a list however, and you can start selling to the same people over and over again. You pay to acquire a prospect once and then you can be selling to them for years to come. Isn’t that much easier, not to mention more profitable, than going to the trouble and expense of acquiring a prospect just for one sale?
2. Pre-existing relationships tend to make people buy from you
It’s a fact that people are far more likely to buy from someone they have bought from before. Once you’ve started building your list and gotten subscribers onboard, you’ll hopefully start to build up a strong relationship with them. How do you do this? Make sure you give your subscribers VALUE and sell them quality products on a regular basis.
3. It’s the secret of having an autopilot income
People who have taken the time and trouble to build a list then become a part of the top 1% of the population – they have the ability to make money on complete autopilot; even while they sleep. You’ve probably thought about that being a pipe dream, yet it’s the reality for anyone who has a decent list.
4. A list is an asset in your business
If you’ve built a list you have a very valuable asset. You can charge other people large amounts of money to send a solo ad to your subscribers, and if you look around at some of the top internet marketers you’ll see them doing it. Why not offer a solo ad mailing as a bonus if people buy one of your expensive products?
5. Consider Joint Ventures
A Joint Venture can also benefit your list by allowing you to form a “Co-Op” with another list builder and combine your lists to reciprocate one anothers advertisements to the others list. In turn, your list will grow with the others subscribers in the process.
List Building References.
I have put together some resources that can really help you in your quest to build a good list. Some of these resources are totally free, while others are available for a nominal fee.
List Building Guide For Newbies
My personal favourite is Resell Rights Weekly where you can download hundreds of free resources that can be resold for 100% profit in most cases. Their Gold Membership is absolutely outstanding because they have an online university available for learning how to promote and build your list(s).
