How to Generate MLM Leads Online

The big challenge in network marketing is consistently generating MLM leads…

As more people are applying to join our team, this scenario has played out multiple times.

“Joe” for example, applied to join our team about a week ago… He watched all of the MLM Primer videos that I sent him…

He’s taken the “One Funnel Away” Challenge and loves the fact that Russell Brunson and Steve Larsen are in our upline.

“Joe” is ready to rock our private team facebook group, our training membership site, and he’s excited to use our funnels…

He’s on board with what we’re doing and wants part of our community.

He’s a perfect fit. Awesome…

BUT… having done MLM before, Joe’s biggest worry is that he isn’t going to be able to generate consistent leads for his business…

Step One: Record “Expert” Interviews…

YOU Don’t Have to be the Expert…

One big advantage in network marketing is that it’s a social business. If you’re not a leader in the company, there’s a good chance you have access to the leaders.

Yesterday, I spoke on the phone with Russell Brunson’s UPLINE on our team… The team leaders want to support you.

If you’re plugged into a network marketing team, you should be able to go upline and contact the people above you…

Maybe your direct upline isn’t a top earner in the company… Contact the person above your sponsor. Keep going up until you find four or five leaders with a great success story that are willing to talk.

Ask upline leaders for an interview…

For this example, let’s call these our “Six Figure Network Marketing SECRETS” interviews.

Get on Skype and record your talks with the top earners. Over the next several days, get all of your interviews done.

Don’t know what to talk about? Don’t worry. Your upline will do the talking. They will know what topics to cover.

Your upline will pretty much create the content for you.

If you’re still unsure what to say, go to your MLM team’s facebook group. Ask the group what questions they want answered…

At the end of the video, make sure to let your viewers know you’re on the top earner’s team.

Let them know what to do if interested in taking the next next steps in joining you.

MLM Leads – Step 2: Create a Funnel…

You don’t want to just put these videos up on youtube. You want to use these videos to generate MLM leads.

Present THIS interview on your squeeze page…

Have visitors opt-in (give their email address) in order to watch the interview.

On the lead capture page, you can add a short snippet of the interview, or an image from your skype discussion…

Tease some of the gold nuggets revealed in your conversation.

What were you most excited to learn? Did anything surprise you? Don’t give it all away, but let visitors know what they’re about to get access to…

After entering their email address, the funnel will direct them to a page where they can view your video interview…

At the bottom of your video, make sure to include a call-to-action (CTA) that lets them know what to do next.

“Want to learn more about our team? Call us 555-555-5555”

Or “fill out our application and a team member will get back to you as soon as possible.”

However you want to word it… Just make sure that if interested, your visitor knows how to take the next steps with you.

Step 3: Follow-Up Emails…

You just created a squeeze page to collect email addresses and give people your top earner interview.

But remember, we recorded 4-5 interviews total…

Now over the next 4-5 days, you’ll want to drip out emails with videos to the other interviews. This is your entire funnel:

We do this because most people do not make buying decisions at first exposure. People need to repeatedly see your offer and message.

By following up multiple times, you’re keeping the opportunity in front of them…

Your MLM leads will slowly be introduced to the other leaders in your group.

The good news is that viewers are ALSO now be introduced to you.

By interviewing the “experts,” in an odd way you’re also positioning yourself as an expert.

Your viewers have seen you in a few videos – and are now familiar with you, your team culture, products, marketing systems, etc…

You’re giving visitors the information needed to make an informed decision.

AND if now’s not the right time – you can continue to “nurture” these MLM leads though your email marketing efforts.

FAQ: What if only one or two top earners agree to an interview?

If you’ve contacted everyone up to the CEO of the company and can only line up one or two interviews, it’s fine…

Just break the interviews into four or five segments…

For example, spend 5 minutes with their STORY… Five minutes discussing recruiting, five minutes on products, etc… Each day’s video can cover a different topic.

You now have your own lead magnet that you can use to generate leads online.
