There's no shortage of marketing gurus, books, podcasts, courses, and other material available to help you on your journey online. Here, I will attempt to weed out the noise and list all of the best high-value resources and content that I find, like, and actually use on my business.

Online Marketing Courses

In my opinion, blogging is the best path for long-term, scalable online success. All of the gurus seem to have a blogging course for sale to help you get started.  

There's only a few blogging courses out there that I recommend...

Authority Hacker Pro & The Authority Site System (TASS)

Adam Enfroy's course is great for new bloggers that need a clear path to building a profitable blog online. With Adam's course alone, you have the tools to be dangerous...

If you've gone through Adam's Blog Growth Engine and want more SEO training, I recommend turning to Gael Breton and Mark Webster of Authority Hacker.

The duo have launched, grown, and sold six and seven figure authority sites over the last several years. They're in the trenches walking the talk - and they've also put together an excellent online program revealing everything they're doing.

If you want to establish your online authority, there isn't a more thorough course than Authority Hacker Pro.

The OFA Challenge is a no-brainer for anyone serious about making money online.

Sales Funnel Software

There are several big players in the sales funnel software arena. Builderall, GrooveFunnels, and Kartra, to name a few. But ClickFunnels has risen to "category king" status for a reason. 

The team at ClickFunnels have done an incredible job combining the best online lead gen and sales funnel software with incredible marketing training (One Funnel Away Challenge) and a strong company culture. 

If you're not "sold' on ClickFunnels just yet, almost all of the funnel software companies offer free trials. You can test a few yourself before making a decision. 

Note: An alternative to ClickFunnels that you may want to check out is GrooveFunnels. The company offers users a free account for life - that gives you the ability to build up to three websites on the platform at no cost (ever). 

Before deciding to pay for ClickFunnels, open a GrooveFunnels account. The free funnel builder just might fit your online marketing needs! I think the guys at GrooveFunnels are making the ClickFunnels team nervous...

Domain Name & Web Hosting Providers

All of my most important websites are hosted on WPX. This company has quickly built a reputation as the top available hosting provider.  They offer excellent performance and the best online support. WPX Hosting plans start at roughly $20/month...

I also have a few websites that are hosted on BlueHost. This is a great affordable option if you're new and just getting started. BlueHost will give a free domain, free SSL certificate, and WordPress as an easy one-click install. As a newbie, you can literally launch a new blog in under thirty minutes. Plans start as low as @ $4/month.

If you're looking for the best performance, go with WPX. If budget is a priority, BlueHost will also get the job done.

Conversion Focused Themes, Plugins, & Page Builder

Thrive is an all-in-one business building toolbox for your blog.  Before I started using Thrive, most of my blog posts were all text. Thrive allows you the flexibility to cuztomize your site however you like (without being a tech genius).

The "content boxes" on this page for example are built using Thrive Architect. 

Install Thrive on your blog, boost conversions, improve user experience, and remove any limitations to the look of your website.

SEO Tools & Keyword Research

ahrefs is by far the best SEO tool you'll ever use. It's not cheap, starting at $97/month, but gives you all of the data you'll ever need to run your online business.  

At this point, I'm only using ahrefs, but a lot of bloggers out there also like and use SEMrush. SEMrush is the swiss army knife of SEO tools. Grow your search traffic, spy on your competition, analyze keywords and build your content marketing strategy. SEMrush is easy to use and the data available is amazing…
